In case you didn't know, Team DL is split across the UK and Ibiza. So, this summer, our UK-based marketing creatives took a trip to visit the other half of the team in Ibiza, and to check out our gorgeous store in Ibiza Town while we were there.
While we were on the island, we spent a lot of time in the store, chatting to our lovely customers, interviewing some incredible Ibiza locals and - of course - having huge try-on sessions. We also met up with some of our favourite models for photoshoots in the most gorgeous locations, and occasionally went to great lengths to get 'the shot' (photo evidence to follow).
In-between working, we visited a handful of Ibiza's beautiful beaches (braving some very windy and narrow roads to get there). Plus, we attended a sound bath on Nobu's rooftop which was so relaxing and the scenery was beautiful - we deffo recommend!

We threw a store event
We started our trip with an evening event at our store in Ibiza Town. It was great to meet our customers in-person and see which DL pieces they were drawn to. In case you're wondering, the Zinnea Skirt was a crowd-favourite, which isn't a surprise since it's perfect for Ibiza nightlife! We also had a DJ playing, there was some almost-too-delicious rose wine, lots of laughter and all the good vibes.
We shot with some of our fave models
One of the main reasons we took our trip to Ibiza was to shoot with some of our fave models on the island and get that all-important content. We ventured around Ibiza Town and Dalt Villa to find the perfect locations and took some gorgeous shots of our summer collection. Plus, we got a good tan while doing it - bonus!
We went to extreme lengths to get 'the shot'
Cue endless giggles. We ended up in so many funny - and ridiculous - situations to get 'the perfect shot'. Some of the highlights include hiking up rocky terrain (and needing help from kind strangers to get back down), balancing precariously while taking photos on clifftops and standing in bushes to hold a gate open to keep it out of the shot (shout out to our social exec, Chloe). Totally worth it.
We interviewed some of Ibiza's finest
One of the many things we love about Ibiza is that so many incredible people live there, and during our trip we were lucky enough to interview some of them.
We spoke to Christina Colding about her journey with holistic healing (and we even attended one of her sound baths). And, we interviewed Nevin and Elke from Happy Hippie Cats, a not-for-profit organisation that cares for stray cats on the island. Nevin and Elke also brought Kitty the kitten with them, who completely stole the show and very nearly ended up coming home with our Brand Manager, Becca. We visited Ibiza's best beaches
We visited some of Ibiza's gorgeous beaches so we could give you the low-down on where to go (there was no other reason, we promise). Our four favourites are Figueretes, Cala Xarraca, Cala de Sant Vicent, and Las Salinas. And, an insider tip for you - Las Salinas was the first place where our co-founders Jade and Jack sold early DL styles in Ibiza. We attended a sound bath
After speaking to Christina and hearing about her work, we knew we had to experience her sound bath for ourselves, and we weren’t disappointed. It was our final night in Ibiza and after a long week of (mostly) work, we were craving some zen to end our trip.
The sound bath was held at the top of the Nobu Hotel with a STUNNING view of the Ibiza coastline. We lay down as the sun was setting and enjoyed every second of Christina’s sound bath. She used crystal singing bowls and other instruments to create a beautiful experience that left us feeling very relaxed and calm afterwards.
At the end of the sound bath, there was a little market of independent sellers, selling clothing, jewellery, candles and aroma therapies. Team DL, of course, all got a sage stick to take home with them.
